GRANTS (Listed in Alpha order by Grant Name)

1. Bethany Bible College Grant:
up $1,000 for freshmen; $500 for upperclassmen

A limited number of grants are available to full-time, degree students who have significant financial need.

2. Church Matching Grant: up to $500 per year
We salute the partnership we share with local churches in raising up a new generation of spiritual leaders.

  • Available to full-time students when a local church, district, or denomination makes a contribution to the student’s account. The College will match the contribution up to $500 per year.
  • Funds contributed must not be from the parents or the student receiving the benefit.
  • Payments or stipends for any services rendered by the student are not eligible for matching.
  • After their initial year recipients must maintain 2.0 cumulative grade point avg. to be eligible.
  • Matching Grant Form & funds to be matched must be received by Bethany prior to January 31 of the applicable academic year.


3. Internship Grant $1,000

Available to students who enroll in only 12 hours during the semester of their internship or student teaching.


4. Multiple Family Member Grant: $250-$750 per year

This grant recognizes the increased financial burden of having more than one person in a family attending college at the same time. (Multiple members includes: father, mother, unmarried dependent children, and husband/wife if they are married prior to enrollment)

  • Available to full-time students with multiple family members enrolled at Bethany in the same year.
  • After their initial year recipients must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible.


5. Shepherd's Grant: $500 per year
Available to all full time, dependent students of parent(s) who are under current appointment by The Wesleyan Church or comparable appointment by another denomination. After their initial year recipients must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible.

6. Wesleyan Heritage Grant: $500 per year
This grant recognizes the significant financial support Bethany receives from The Wesleyan Church of North America.

  • Available to full-time students who are members in good standing of a Wesleyan Church of North America
  • Recipients must be recommended by a Wesleyan pastor from their local church.
  • After their first year, recipients must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible.


7. Wesleyan Loan/Grant Program

Available to junior and senior Wesleyan students who are pursuing the ordination track with The Wesleyan Church.

Wesleyan Heritage Grant and Shepherd`s Grant: All required information is included on the Pastor`s Reference Form.

Church Matching Grant: Have your church submit a Matching Grant Form with their funds.
